Indian Point Camp - Walleye fishing on Wabigoon Lake is fantastic. Wabigoon Lake is a big lake and for its size it's fairly shallow and the water is many times more nutrient than other lakes in the area. Wabigoon Lake is also warmer than most Northwestern Ontario Lakes. As a result, there are plenty of weeds both close to shore and in the deeper water. The warmer water also means our Walleyes grow faster and bigger than Walleyes in Other Lakes.
Fishing in Temagami - Lake Temagami has public access in the Town of Temagami. Lake Temagami has excellent fishing for Lake Trout, Walleye and Northern Pike. Lake Temagami's claim to fishing fame is the incredible Smallmouth Bass fishing. Smallmouth can be caught in good numbers with the average size being much larger then most Smallmouth Lakes. 2 to 4 pounders are common.
Rampage Sports Fishing Charters - Rampage Sports Fishing Charters is located on the Canadian southeast corner of Lake St. Clair, docked at Cove Marina at the mouth of the Thames River in the beautiful village of Lighthouse Cove. We are approx. 45 minutes from Ambassador Bridge connecting Windsor Ontario and Detroit Michigan and approx 1 ½ hour form London Ontario. Numerous pros and recreational Fisherman from Ontario, Michigan and Ohio fish the hot spots of Lake St. Clair.
Northwest Outfitters & Outpost Camps Ltd. - Lake of the Woods is well known for its fantastic walleye fishery. Ash Bay and Ptarmigan Bay usually provides us all the walleye we need for lunches and each year we catch trophy walleye in excess of 10 pounds. You can cast, jig or troll depending on the conditions. Look for them in the mud bays first, then the sand bottoms and as the summer progresses deeper and more toward the rocks and points.
Davis' Bonny Bay Camp - Wabigoon Lake is considerably warmer and more nutrient than most Northwestern Ontario lakes thus the population of Walleyes seems inexhaustible. These factors combined with perfect Walleye structure such as rivers, shoals, rocky points and deep weed-beds, makes Wabigoon Lake one of the best Walleye lakes in Canada and the top trophy Walleye hotspot in Ontario.
North Country Lodge - Walleye are considered by many to be the best tasting fish in the world. Fisherpersons come from all over North America to Canyon Lake to fish for Walleye because our Walleyes have beautiful white meat and cook up nice and fluffy. The cool crystal clean water of Canyon Lake makes our Walleyes the best tasting anywhere. Our Walleyes are also scrappers with many giving up fights that will surprise you. It's not uncommon for guests to think they have a small Muskie on the line and have it turn out to be a big Walleye.
Pine Island Resort Ltd. - Black Bear Island Lake is a large widening of the famous Churchill River and is one of the best Walleye fishing water systems in Saskatchewan and maybe all of Canada.
Northern Woods Lodge - Walleye are literally caught everywhere in Long Lake. From the river, from bays, on sandbars, rock ledges and even suspended at times. The walleye get more plentiful and larger as the summer goes on. You can be catching walleye within minutes of getting into your boat.
Hidden River Lodge - The average size of our Walleyes is between 17 and 19 inches but many bigger trophy-walleye in the 30 to 32 inch ranges are caught and released all summer. Guests occasionally catch Walleye up to 34 inches, which can weight as much as 14 pounds. We also have the rare Blue Walleye, which is only found in a couple of lakes in Ontario. Catching a Blue Walleye will add the final touch to an awesome fishing trip.
Way North Lodge - Walleyes are found in three of our four main fishing lakes. Walleyes are very abundant throughout South Trout Lake, Favourable Lake, and Setting Net Lake, they average 18-24 inches with some as high as 28-30 inches. This will provide lots of action for the experienced angler or even the newest angler. Even while fishing for walleyes, the chance at a trophy pike is not out of reach as many are caught attacking a walleye at boat side or on your hook while jigging.
Bear Lake Wilderness Camp - Bear Lake and the Whitefish Watershed (10 lakes connected by the Whitefish River) have long been known for Monster Trophy Walleye. These two bodies of water come together to form over 17-miles of navigable Walleye territory. The underwater topography offers shoals, islands, points and narrows, which form the perfect habitat for most fresh-water sports fish. These deep clear lakes pack so much baitfish that the Walleye get huge. Many Walleyes in the 30-inch range and over have been caught and released.
Cozy Camp - The English River is famous for it's abundance of golden Walleye! From trophies to tasty shore lunch, Walleye fishing is spectacular! While traveling the gently flowing waters, you will discover that it opens up into many small Walleye filled lakes, weedy bays, and rocky areas. The constant flow of fresh water, perfect structure & abundance of feeder fish has made the river a perfect hatchery for Walleye.
